NEW YORK, June 2 -- YouTube fave Bo Burnham comes to
COMEDY CENTRAL Records with his debut album, "Bo Fo Sho." The 6-song EP
will be available for download to own from iTunes, eMusic and other major
download sites on Tuesday, June 17.
Bo Burnham was born in 1990. Bo Burnham writes funny songs. Bo Burnham
talks in third person. Burnham started teaching himself how to play piano
and guitar during the summer before his junior year in high school. On
December 28th, 2006, Burnham recorded two of his songs as videos and posted
them on YouTube. Eight months and seven songs later, Burnham's videos have
been seen over twenty million times worldwide, generating literally
hundreds of thousands of laughs. The songs, recorded in Burnham's bedroom
with a camera resting on a stack of books, have been remixed, rated and
reviewed thousands of times. The digital EP is a mix of old and new
material.
